Faina Gurevich, MD
Dr. Gurevich became part of Laurel Kidney Specialists in 2011. She completed her medical degree at Penn State College of Medicine, residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and fellowship at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Gurevich is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She is a member of American Society of Nephrology and Pennsylvania Medical Society. Dr. Gurevich is dedicated to providing compassionate care to her patients and our community. Her interests include enjoying family time outdoors and building legos with her young son.
Suneeta Gadde, MD
Dr. Gadde joined Laurel Kidney Specialists in 2010. She attended a medical school in India and completed Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship from Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She is board certified in Nephrology, specializes in kidney diseases, hypertension, dialysis, and post kidney transplant care. She is a member of American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Gadde believes in compassionate, comprehensive, patient centered care. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, exploring nature in beautiful Laurel Highlands.
Anton Verbine, MD
Dr. Verbine has been caring for the local community since 2013 with his Laurel Kidney colleagues. After initial nephrology training in Moscow, Russia, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Luke's in Bethlehem PA, then nephrology and renal transplant fellowship in University of Toronto. He studied renal diseases in Italy, US, Canada and Russia, and now he is working and raising his two children in Johnstown PA. Dr. Verbine also enjoys decorative art, traveling, growing fruit trees and cooking.
Karim Bitar, MD
Dr. Bitar joined Laurel Kidney Specialists in 2022. He received his MD from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He did a residency in Internal Medicine at UPMC-Shadyside followed by a fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Bitar is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. In his free time, he enjoys reading, watching soccer as well as exploring nature.
Jeremy Sotosky, PA
Jeremy was born and raised locally in Davidsville, PA. He attended Conemaugh Township Area High School before completing his higher level education at Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA where he earned his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Jeremy has maintained local ties as he continues to reside in Davidsville. He enjoys many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, camping boating, and other sports. When the weather doesn’t permit, he enjoys reading, meeting new people, and spending time with family and friends.
